What are the components used to achieve that high an Horse Power ??

Well, we will go through one by one of the components used but on this post we will cover:

UMA RACING IMC DIGITAL CDI

With nowadays in the competitive market there are many CDI's ( Capasitor Discharge Ignition ) used for underbone bikes .

Back to basics, what is actually a CDI? What does it do??

In simple language, it uses capasitor discharge current output to fire the spark plugs to make the ignition system more suitable for high speeds and pick up.

Some CDI's have a single maps some multiple maps. It differs from company to company.

But today we will let you know about our UMA RACING CDI.

 
This is the box of the CDI.
 
 
What is in the box:

1) The CDI itself
2) CDI controller
3) Rubber holder when you install on the standard bike
4) A few cable ties to fastened
5) Uma Racing sticker.


This model of  CDI are for :

Yamaha models:
 -LC135 ( Spark 135/ Sniper MX / Exciter
-Nouvo
-SRL 115 / Spark / Crypton / Jupiter

Honda Models:

Wave 110 and Wave 125.

*The models made for this CDI I have already posted in the recent post.

THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS CDI IS THE ALLOCATED 4 MAPS.

We will show you WHEN TO USE THIS 4 MAPS,

MAP 1:


* MAP 1 is suitable for STANDARD FACTORY bikes. Without any modifications.

What will happen if your a standard bike but try to use Map 4??-----------In along haul your engine temperature will increase due to the high ignition timing causing knocking and at last a damaged engine


MAP 2:


* MAP 2  are suitable for STAGE 1 modified bikes
  What is in the stage 1 modification list?:
 
Stage 1: Carburetor (Bigger ones) + High Cam + Slip on Exhaust
*If you use any of these modifications or all of these modifications then feel free to use MAP 2
 
MAP 3:

  * MAP 3  are suitable for STAGE 2 modified bikes
  What is in the stage 2 modification list?:
 
Stage 2: “ Stage 1 modifications “ + Big bore (Block) + High compression piston
 
MAP 4:
 

    * MAP 4  are suitable for STAGE 3 modified bikes
    What is in the stage 3 modification list?:


  Stage 3: “ Stage 2 modifications “ + Superhead

That the main difference between the maps are from LOW to MID RPM
